Absolute dearth of self motivation is a common trend noticeable across a sizeable chunk of students enrolled in e-Learning. It is witnessed that many students remain disengaged in this remote learning set up. Though this industry is showing a continuous spurt and believed to open up new avenues in the educational landscape. Yet motivating a good number of disengaged participants in e-Learning remain an elusive goal for the learning coaches.

The book ‘The 100 Year Life’ by Lynda Gratton and Andrew Scott highlights how human life expectancy is on the rise by up to three months per year for over a century, and there’s no sign of it slowing down.  As the trend continues, more than half the people born in developed nations after 2000 have an increased working lifespan. The improved longevity leading to delayed retirement is becoming a real consideration for the current workforce. 

Since its invention, email has managed to gain prominence and importance in both our personal and professional life. More candid, email is considered to be a most important mode of formal communication in the business topography. In words of American music maestro David Newman, ‘Email has ability, many channels don’t, creating valuable personal touches at scale.’

A resume is a summary of your work experience, skills, and education. Although the words resume and curriculum vitae or CV are used interchangeably, but CV is a more comprehensive term. A CV is a detailed bio of your career, ranging from your education, work, skills and experience without the restriction of length. But a resume is a precise version of those experiences and skills, and typically should cover 10 years’ of one’s major employment duration. 

Workplace learning is a way through which students gain practical experience and learn more about various career options. It is a way of learning and training that they receive while at work, and they get paid by their employers.
